On August 9, 2003...we had our third annual "Hot August Night!"
performance which was held at Robinson
Center Music Hall in Little Rock, AR. The show featured new music, new costumes,
a lot of talented men and women...and the American flag flying
proudly. For some
highlights, look below... |

This Master of Ceremonies for
the show was Mr. Jack Larsen...who not only did a great job at
the podium, but also sang as well (he is a member of the
local Diamond State Men's Chorus which will be featured later). |

The Top of
the Rock Chorus took the stage first wearing costumes first unveiled
at the 2003 Region 25 Competition in Richardson, TX
(in April, 2003). |

 |
As usual, there was plenty of choreography to go with the
music...with a mix of classic (i.e. "When I Fall in Love") and more
contemporary (i.e. "Stray Cat Strut") songs. |

 |
We
even threw in one of our newest competition tunes..."Hard-Hearted
Hanna" (upper left photo). Toward the end of the show, we saluted
our country with "God Bless America" (upper right photo) and
other patriotic music (more on that later). |
|
 |
And, there were some soloists
as well. Our director, Peggy Barnes Gram (above), belted out
one of our old standbys..."Oreo Cookie Blues". |

I guess you thought the show was
over, right? Nope. We have some more stuff to show you.
